Torment

Kaveri Chaudhary is a contemporary artist, residing and continuing her art practice in Delhi. After completing MFA from Visva Bharati University, she shifted to Mumbai, Baroda and finally Delhi, however her vivid connection with nature since her college days has remained unchanged. She believes nature is feminized as it has the same qualities as women. She noticed the anatomical resemblance between parts of the female body and natural objects and used them in her painting. Kaveri has been working for the last 10 years as a practicing artist. Her vision is to unveil multiple dimensions of Mother Nature and women and give myriad perspectives through her artwork. She wants to do project oriented work with the women, coming from a backward community.
